On September 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike struck the Texas Gulf Coast impacting areas from Galveston, Texas to Lake Charles, Louisiana with winds in excess of 110 miles per hour and a powerful 25 foot storm surge.
On September 15, 2008, Champion Contractor's Disaster Response Teams were prepared and ready to begin reconstruction work for yet another community heavily impacted by Hurricane. As demand requires additional teams will be sent to help plan the recovery and conduct needs assessments.
